ACN OPERATES IN EUROPE AS THE ASIA COLLECTIONS NETWORK – EUROPE (ACN – Europe)
a non-profit organisation that aims to become a central reference point for the production, sharing and dissemination of knowledge on Asian material culture in Europe. In order to give visibility and voice to collections that deserve to be studied, preserved and more widely known, we foster the interdisciplinary and cross-cultural exchange among professionals with expertise and involvement in the arts and artefacts of Asia. We promote and connect collections with Asian materials in cultural institutions around Europe. In our activities, we adopt and propose an eclectic and inclusive approach to the study and appreciation of the cultures of Asia through the many manifestations of their material productions.
